SleepBetter Privacy Policy

SleepBetter provides audio for relaxation and sleep support. This policy describes the information used by the app and its service providers.

Information used by SleepBetter

• Anonymous app ID: the app creates a random UUID on first launch. It is used to keep app state, identify analytics events, and manage the one-time in-app trial. No Apple, Google, or email login is required.
• Product analytics: Firebase Analytics receives limited events such as onboarding choices, selected page views, timer actions, recommendation clicks, sound selections, subscription flow results, and counted track starts. The app uses the anonymous ID as its Firebase user ID.
• Crash diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports and device or app diagnostics needed to investigate failures.
• Audio delivery: the SleepBetter service and Cloudflare R2 deliver audio and may process the audio key, IP address, request metadata, and security logs. Audio is cached in encrypted form on the device for playback reliability.
• Feedback: messages submitted from Help & Feedback are stored in SleepBetter's private service storage together with limited app and device diagnostics. No email address is required.
• Purchases: Apple processes subscription purchases, billing, refunds, and subscription status. SleepBetter receives entitlement information needed to unlock Premium audio.

Information stored on your device

Preferences, onboarding choices, the anonymous ID, trial dates, playback state, favorites, and encrypted audio cache are stored on the device. You can remove local data by deleting the app. Apple subscription records are managed by Apple.

How information is shared

Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate SleepBetter: Apple for purchases, Google Firebase for analytics and crash diagnostics, and Cloudflare for audio delivery and security. SleepBetter does not sell personal information.

Retention and choices

Analytics and diagnostic retention is controlled by the relevant provider settings and operational needs. You can limit analytics in iOS settings where supported, manage subscriptions through Apple, and contact the developer through the App Store listing for privacy questions or requests.
